Jennie True, LICSW

Jennie True, MSW, LICSW has been a Social Worker for over 20 years. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Relations from the University of Connecticut. She then pursued her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University. Throughout Jennie’s career, she has specialized in working with older adults and their families. She focuses on helping older adults cope with the challenges associated with aging including transitions in roles and independence, dealing with evolving physical and emotional issues, chronic illness, and memory impairment. Jennie has worked with individuals, families, and in group settings. Another specialty is providing support to adult children of aging parents. Jennie utilizes a strength based, person centered approach to therapy to meet clients where they are at and support them in achieving their identified goals.
