Anne Detweiler received her MSW from Boston University School of Social Work. She is experienced in residential treatment for adolescent girls, community mental health, and private practice. Anne works with adults and adolescents, using an eclectic approach to treatment that is rooted in psychodynamic therapy and incorporates elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy and narrative therapy. She provides treatment for a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, grief and loss, and life transitions. Anne has a special interest in medical and health-related concerns, such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, chronic illness, infertility, and clients living with multiple medical diagnoses. Additionally, Anne is also a field faculty advisor for the Boston University School of Social Work.
