Practice building, practice management and group practice affiliations are essential to clinical success in MA.
Clinicians want more time to do what they always intended to do, and what they do best—evaluate and treat individuals and families seeking assistance with behavioral healthcare issues. And they want to insure that they are reimbursed for their services in a timely way.
Practice Management, Practice Building and Group Practice in MA
We assist clinicians in these objectives by:
- increasing their referral rates,
- reducing the time they spend with paperwork and administrative tasks, and
- serving as their agent with third-party payers.
Referrals are increased by (1) credentialing clinicians with insurers and EAPs doing business in Massachusetts, (2) promoting the services of our contracted clinicians with physician practices, school systems, inpatient facilities, and other significant sources of patient referrals, (3) referring new patients to them, and (4) keeping clinicians apprised of new service delivery demands.
Reducing non-clinical hours is advanced by (1) doing the initial referral intakes, (2) verifying insurance benefits, (3) obtaining initial authorizations, (4) considerably streamlining paperwork requirements, (5) facilitating credentialing and recredentialing, (6) summarizing and disseminating information about new legal, social policy, regulatory, and procedural developments that affect their practice, (7) managing all third-party billing and collections, and (8) providing detailed earning summaries at each payroll period and at year’s end.
All of this is done for a modest management and marketing fee while clinicians maintain their independent status by being able to (1) accept only those referrals they wish to, (2) schedule patients as they see fit, (3) develop treatment plans and strategies based on their own professional judgment, and (4) see patients in their own office locations.
“A la carte” services are available at additional cost, e.g., supervision, participating in an emergency coverage rotation, selecting office locations and providing turnkey operations.
Properly experienced clinicians are also eligible to participate in our contracts to provide corporate crisis management, critical incident stress debriefings, deliver wellness seminars in workplaces, and conduct management training in corporations.
